You can import into DigMyData your email orders collection compiled in a spreadsheet, revenue from checks, expenses, number of employees, support agents, and other revenue sources.
DigMyData supports local and web-based spreadsheet files (XLS) or comma separated text files (CSV). ![]()
Configure and Upload local XLS or CSV
Go to Settings |
Spreadsheets in DigMyData.

Click the New Uploaded XLS or CSV button. The following screen will be displayed:

Click the Download blank template (.xls) to download the spreadsheet template supported by DigMyData.
Save the file to a desired folder then open the file in a spreadsheet program associated with it.
Enter your historical data related to employee history count.
The spreadsheet must have the following information:
- Every day that the company has operated under Date column. Any date format is accepted in .XLS format. If using .CSV, use the “2011-03-15″ format (in this case, March 15, 2011).
- Number of employees on that day under Value column. Make sure this column is formatted as a number.
- Description column is optional.

Save the file and upload it back to the Spreadsheets page in DigMyData Settings.
Once the file has been selected, choose an option that fits the spreadsheet data:
Click the Update button to confirm file selection and settings and returns you back to the spreadsheets list. Return to Deep View to see your spreadsheet chart.
In the example below, the chart displays historical data from a spreadsheet that was uploaded based on DigMyData spreadsheet template. It shows historical employee count as it changes over time.
