A Tale of Two TechiesThe inspiration for DigMyData came in early 2009 when entrepreneurs Mark Smith and Adam Wride wanted to collaborate on a software project. After careful consideration of their collective experience, the duo realized that with any company, the creation of a product represents just a small part of daily operations. The majority of resources are focused on support, sales, marketing, management and putting out fires.
While consulting for a handful of startups, Mark conceived a set of tools that would automate and simplify the busy work of running a small business. By adapting the tools to the latest trends in online sales, marketing, support, metrics and social media, the profound power of DigMyData for business was realized. Mark's project management skills and Adam's community building background are the solid foundations upon which DigMyData was created and continues to grow.
